On January 2, 2020, a distant memory now, we woke up, each in a corner of Lisbon, determined to make that year the best of our lives.

What was the ideal way to start this ambitious project? A dance class, of course!

Our faith in the healing, perhaps esoteric, power of shaking a leg was not shared by our friends. Ignoring the contrary opinions, we decided to go dancing anyway.

And so it was, at number 70 Rua dos Anjos, amidst xotes and smiles, that this love was born.

We have differences that at first glance may seem irreconcilable.

Stéphane is obsessed with digital spreadsheets, while Giuliana writes everything down the old-fashioned way in little notebooks. He likes a certain contemplative silence, she wants to talk all the time. A Frenchman who loves to exercise, a Brazilian who prefers reading and watching series.

What unites us, however, is much greater than what separates us. Our differences complement each other, and our chaos is surprisingly balanced.

We are now certain that we will continue dancing together.
